How Care Works at InfusaLounge

A personalized approach to consultations, advanced diagnostics, clinical care, and integrative therapies in Allen, Texas.

Most patients come to us because they want a clearer understanding of what is going on, what their options are, or where to begin.

At InfusaLounge Integrative & Functional Medicine, not every patient follows the same path.

Some services can be scheduled after appropriate screening without a full clinical consultation. When a prescription, individualized health consultation, or personalized care plan is needed, patients meet with Triny Nguyen, APRN.

Phyllis J. Gee, MD, FACOG serves as Medical Director and oversees InfusaLounge clinical protocols.

Our goal is to provide the level of clinical involvement that makes sense for your needs instead of placing every patient into the same pathway.

Do I Need a Consultation?

Sometimes yes. Sometimes no. The appropriate starting point depends on the service you are seeking and the level of clinical evaluation required.

01

When a Clinical Consultation Is Needed

Patients meet with Triny Nguyen, APRN when individualized clinical evaluation or care planning is appropriate.

  • A prescription is required
  • You want help evaluating ongoing health concerns
  • An individualized health consultation is requested
  • A personalized care plan is needed
  • Existing laboratory results need clinical review
  • A service requires individualized clinical screening or monitoring
02

When a Full Consultation May Not Be Needed

Not every InfusaLounge service requires a full health consultation. Some services may be scheduled after the appropriate screening process has been completed.

If you already know which service you are interested in, our team can help determine whether a clinical consultation is required before your appointment.

What Happens When Individualized Care Is Needed?

Your exact pathway depends on why you are here. In general, individualized care follows a simple principle: understand the clinical picture first, then determine what information or care is actually useful.

1

Start With Your Story

Review your concerns, relevant health history, what has already been evaluated, what you have tried, and what you want to accomplish.

2

Use the Information You Already Have

Bring relevant recent laboratory results, medication lists, imaging, or medical records whenever possible. Existing information may reduce unnecessary duplication.

3

Add Testing When It Can Answer a Useful Question

Additional testing can be selected when it may provide information relevant to the clinical question being evaluated.

4

Build the Plan Around the Findings

Recommendations are individualized according to relevant findings, health history, goals, clinical needs, and appropriateness.

5

Follow Up When Your Care Requires It

Some patients may need laboratory review, prescription monitoring, or adjustments to an individualized plan. Others may not require ongoing clinical management.

Advanced Testing, When It Makes Sense

InfusaLounge offers access to a broad range of advanced diagnostic testing, but having more testing available does not mean every patient needs every test.

Personalized consultation and diagnostic care at InfusaLounge in Allen, Texas

When testing is clinically appropriate, selections can be based on your symptoms, health history, existing results, goals, and the specific question being investigated.

Depending on your needs, available diagnostics may evaluate areas such as hormones and thyroid function, gut and microbiome health, metabolic health, nutrient status, autonomic function, genetics, and other functional health markers.

The goal is not to order the largest possible panel.
The goal is to gather information that can meaningfully inform the next decision.

Can InfusaLounge Work Alongside My Existing Doctors?

Yes. Coming to InfusaLounge does not mean you need to leave your primary care physician or specialists.

Relevant laboratory results, medication lists, imaging, and medical records from your existing healthcare team may provide useful context during an individualized evaluation.

Depending on your needs, InfusaLounge care may complement care you receive from a primary care physician, OB/GYN, endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, fertility specialist, cardiologist, neurologist, or another healthcare professional.

There may also be situations where your InfusaLounge clinician recommends evaluation or treatment outside our clinic.

Responsible integrative care includes knowing when another level of care is the better next step.
