Scope of Services
Services offered by InfusaLounge Integrative & Functional Medicine include, but are not limited to: functional medicine programs, advanced diagnostic testing, IV nutrient therapy, specialty IV therapy, vitamin shots and injections, NAD+ therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), ozone and UVBI therapy, ozone sauna therapy, peptide therapy, hormone optimization therapy (including bioidentical hormone replacement), red light therapy (photobiomodulation), EPIC upper cervical alignment, chelation therapy, regenerative medicine (including PRP and exosome therapy), and medical weight loss programs.
These services are not substitutes for emergency medical care, primary care, or specialist treatment. IV hydration therapy is intended to supplement — not replace — oral hydration and standard medical care.
Prescription Medications & Compounding
Prescription medications are not sold or shipped directly by InfusaLounge. When medically appropriate, prescriptions are written by licensed providers and may be dispensed by a licensed pharmacy in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
Compounded medications prescribed through this practice are prepared by licensed, FDA-registered compounding pharmacies operating under Section 503A or Section 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Section 503A pharmacies compound on a prescription basis for individual patients. Section 503B outsourcing facilities may compound for office use under additional FDA oversight and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).
InfusaLounge does not compound medications in-house, nor does it source compounded medications from non-pharmacy suppliers, research laboratories, or facilities that are not registered with the FDA and licensed by their respective state boards of pharmacy.
FDA Disclosure
Compounded medications referenced or offered through this practice are administered under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved but are legally prepared by FDA-registered, state-regulated 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies in accordance with applicable regulations.
Statements made on this website have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The services and products described on this website are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
The availability of specific compounded medications, including peptides, may change based on evolving FDA regulations, ingredient classification updates, and state pharmacy board guidelines. InfusaLounge operates in compliance with current federal and state regulations at all times and adjusts available offerings accordingly.
NAD+ Therapy Disclosure
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) therapy is administered under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. NAD+ is compounded by licensed 503A or 503B pharmacies and is available in IV, injectable, and intranasal formulations. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Individual results may vary.
HCG Therapy Disclosure
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is classified as a biologic under the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA), effective March 2020. HCG is not a peptide and cannot be legally compounded by 503A or 503B pharmacies.
HCG administered at InfusaLounge is sourced exclusively as a commercially manufactured, FDA-approved product obtained through licensed pharmaceutical distributors. HCG is a Schedule III controlled substance and is prescribed, stored, and administered in accordance with applicable DEA, FDA, and Texas state pharmacy regulations.
Hormone Optimization & BHRT Disclosure
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and hormone optimization protocols are provided under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Bioidentical hormones may be compounded by licensed 503A or 503B pharmacies based on individual patient prescriptions and diagnostic testing results.
Hormone therapy carries potential risks and side effects that vary by individual. Your provider will discuss risks, benefits, and alternatives during your consultation. Hormone therapy is not appropriate for all patients.
Medical Weight Loss & GLP-1 Disclosure
GLP-1 receptor agonist medications (including semaglutide and tirzepatide) prescribed through our medical weight loss program are FDA-approved, brand-name pharmaceutical products sourced from licensed manufacturers and distributors. InfusaLounge does not prescribe or dispense compounded versions of FDA-approved GLP-1 medications.
Medical weight loss programs involve prescription medications that carry potential risks and side effects. These programs are supervised by licensed healthcare providers and include ongoing monitoring. Weight loss results vary by individual and depend on adherence to the prescribed program, dietary modifications, physical activity, and biological factors.
